Q & A

Q & A

  • How does performance differ between the foamed heat-insulating materials and others?
    • The heat conductivity values of the foamed heat-insulating materials range from 0.03 to 0.05 W/m・k.
To enquire about other materials, please contact our customer services.
  • How does performance differ between the foamed shock absorbers and other materials?
    • Data related to the impact load test of the foamed shock absorbers can be provided. To enquire about other materials, please contact our customer services.
  • How does performance differ between the foamed sound absorbers and other materials?
    • Open-cell foamed shock absorbers and other materials exhibit good sound absorption properties. To enquire about other materials, please contact our customer services.
  • What is the base material of the foamed heat-insulating materials?
    • Polyethylene (PE), ethylene-vinylacetate copolymer (EVA), polychloroprene (CR), ethylene-propylene rubber (EPDM), nitrile rubber (NBR) and polyvinylchloride (PVC) are used as base polymers. Regarding the physical properties, please enquire through our customer services.
  • Is there a specific recycling method for the foamed materials?
    • Our closed-cell foamed PE product, “ECOPELCA”, is the reformed material from other products. “ECOPELCA” comprises >50% recycled materials and has obtained the “eco-mark”, a certification related to low environmental loading.
